Our Worship Services

What you can expect when you come to The Journey:

  • You can expect to find plenty of free parking with lots of ADA parking spaces near to the entrance.
  • You can expect to be greeted warmly, then directed to the plentiful seating, or the coffee and snack table.
  • You can expect our service to start on-time (10:30am).

    At The Journey, we believe that corporate praise and worship is an important aspect of the Christian life.  We acknowledge God's attributes and celebrate Christ through song and the worship arts. 

    Our mission is to facilitate an encounter with the living God that enables people to reflect and respond to Him in spirit and truth. (Psalm 95, John 4:21-24)

    True worship is the active response of the community of faith to the living God for who He is and for what He has done. (Psalm 95-100)

    At The Journey, our musical worship sets typically consist of exciting, up-beat praise songs that usher in a spirit of joy and celebration.  We will often include scripture reading, praise reports, and a time of reflecting on God's holiness.  We try not to adhere to any single "formula" for the structure of our music services.  At The Journey, we believe that celebrating and worshiping God should remain fresh and new every week.

    The teaching and preaching portion of our worship services is currently being led by our Pastoral Team; Kevin Moen, Lonnie Brawley and Tony Askew.  We are pressing on, growing in our faith walk together as we study and apply God's word.
